SUMRSWPP Cooperation With Local Units of Government

Implementation of the source water protection plans developed by St. Cloud, St. Paul, and Minneapolis will be carried out primarily at the local level. The identification of potential contaminants and their sources will provide the primary focus on plan implementation. Project staff will work with state and local government entities, including watershed groups, in selecting and implementing best management practices and other source water protection strategies.
